Our Mission
The Camp mission can only be achieved with the philanthropic support of people who believe in it. At YMCA Camp Chandler, Campers develop life skills such as confidence, self-esteem, how to conduct themselves in diverse situations, appreciation of others, and appreciation for the outdoors. All children benefit from the Camp Chandler experience. Inspired by Bill Chandler and past counselors and campers, Camp Chandler has been achieving excellence through the support of a dedicated community of parents, volunteers and alumni since 1929.
A DIVERSE CAMP COMMUNITY BENEFITS EVERYONE
Our philanthropic mission is to make the YMCA Camp Chandler experience open to all children from all walks of life regardless of the ability to pay. Thanks to generous support, children from diverse geographic, cultural, religious and economic backgrounds will leave Camp Chandler more confident and more appreciative of others. Camp Chandler can be a major force in the development of a child.
