Welcome to the Grandview YMCA…
…a beautiful, modern, expanded, family-oriented, health and wellness facility.
With Elmore County being one of the fastest-growing counties in Alabama, naturally, the Grandview YMCA has grown in both summer camp participation as well as in membership in astronomical numbers over the last three years.
With that understanding, our YMCA knew we needed a new and improved facility. We went to work with community meetings trying to understand how we could best meet those needs.
EGYM at the Y

Sign up for an orientation to get started with eGym. Every sign up for orientation is automatically entered to win one of our Y swag bags.
We offer a variety of group exercise classes that are always included in your membership. From beginner to advanced classes, we offer something for everyone.
During these classes, members do more than exercise together. They support each other, build relationships and hold each other accountable. These classes are always listed on our website or you can download the YMCA of Greater Montgomery App and find a list there.
When you’re a member at this facility, you have access to over 10 different YMCAs across the River Region and, if you travel, your membership travels with you through our national reciprocity plan.

EGYM is an onboarding & motivational fitness technology at the Grandview Family YMCA that will add more excitement to your fitness journey.
New Expanded lobby.
The expanded fitness center, double in size at 4,800 square feet, will be outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment.
Different training goals require different types of workouts. In our expanded space, you will find a first for the state of Alabama—EGYM Smart Strength machines which use five targeted methods to enhance the reliability with which you achieve personal fitness goals.
You might find equipment in other facilities, but what makes them different here? Here, these machines are simply tools—tools your wellness coach will use in helping you achieve your goals.
We offer a free wellness orientation to get you started on your wellness journey and our staff are always here if you have questions along the way. We have a variety of different programs and wellness incentives as you create healthy habits and travel on your path to your best self. We are committed to helping you reach your goals, big and small.
As part of this expansion, our gymnasium is undergoing a renovation as well. A brand-new wood floor is set to be installed during the first part of April.
Our Youth Development Programs such as basketball and volleyball will be enhanced by this renovation and we’ll be able to continue teaching values such as Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility through team sports.
Outside, we have two pools where lives are transformed by programs such as swim lessons & swim team, and families can reconnect to each other in a safe environment.
The best part about the childcare facility is that is conveniently adjacent to the wellness facility. An indoor playground will be installed here so parents can exercise with the peace of mind that their child will be cared for by fully trained and background checked staff.
The gym has flooring all round with multipurpose lining clearly defined.
