The YMCA of Greater Montgomery will feature Don Gambril, former University of Alabama Swim Coach and Assistant Athletic Director for a FREE guest lecture on the importance of character development, commitment, and attitude in athletes. The event is open to all in the community. Don Gambril, former All-American swimmer and former University of Alabama and U.S. Olympic Swimming Coach, has been to nine Olympic games (coaching five of them), led teams to conference and national championships, and coached individual swimmers to their fastest speeds. Gambril has traveled to 65 countries lecturing, leading and inspiring through his talks on character development, commitment, and attitude in athletes.
