Childcare Stories at The YMCA of Greater Montgomery
Chaundra Steele, single mother of two children, was told by someone in her church to come to the Cleveland Avenue YMCA for childcare. Since it is outside of her neighborhood and she didn’t know a soul there, she was naturally a little afraid to send her children to the unknown. She came in for a tour and was instantly taken with the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. She said, “the staff of the Cleveland Avenue YMCA treat my children like their own.” She is grateful to know that her children are so cared for and it gives her such an ease as she heads to work each day.
