NFL Flag Alabama

NFL FLAG is the largest, most recognized flag football organization in the U.S.—and the only one where players wear official NFL gear.

NFL FLAG Alabama is a new and unique statewide flag league initiative managed directly by NFL FLAG, and in partnership with Alabama Recreation & Park Association and the Alabama High School Athletic Association.

The purpose of NFL FLAG Alabama is to create innovative ways to ensure youth in the state can play this great game that we love and introduce new initiatives that can be replicated nationwide for all NFL FLAG leagues.

NFL Flag Football at the YMCA

The YMCA believes that character development is an essential element of sports. Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility are valued on and off the field. In YMCA sports, everyone plays and everyone plays fair. We put safety first and emphasize positive competition and having fun! Children must be ages 4 -12.

  • Registration: June 14 – August 14th 2021
  • Cost: $60 members, $120 non-members
    Ages: 4-12
  • Registration is in-house or online
  • Conditioning begins on August 9.
  • Practice Begins Week of August 16, 2021.
  • Games begin September 11, 2021.
  • Day of Football: Tentative Date, October 30, 2021.
