YMCA of Greater Montgomery opens new location
The YMCA of Greater Montgomery now has another location.
The YMCA at Peppertree is the Y’s new adult-only facility. It’s located in the former Jackson Wellness Center on Halcyon Park Drive.
The facility has a fully-equipped fitness center, group fitness classes, saunas in the men’s and women’s locker rooms, upstairs indoor walking track, wellness services, and amenities like towel service and massage chairs. The Y says its Peppertree location is “designed for adults seeking a focused, tranquil fitness environment.”
Jackson Wellness Center memberships will officially transition to YMCA memberships on Dec. 18. Third-party insurance payers such as Silver and Fit, BCBS Flex Card, Active and Fit, and Renew Active are accepted at all Montgomery YMCA locations.
Officials say for the first 60 days of operation, the Y at Peppertree will keep the same hours of operation and services as the Jackson Wellness Center.
