WheezeAway

Camp WheezeAway is offering week-long summer camps to kids with Asthma. Kids age 8-12 suffering from moderate to severe asthma can apply for this FREE summer camp program offered at YMCA Camp Chandler. Kids experience all the fun of summer camp while learning confidence-building skills in asthma management from medical professionals.

Camp Spark

Camp Spark is a free overnight camp for underserved youth ages 8–12, made possible by the legacy of Camp Ryne. Created in memory of Ryne Odom, this program opens the door to unforgettable summer experiences—swimming, exploring, and making new friends at YMCA Camp Chandler. Camp Spark 2025 begins June 9, offering kids the chance to grow, play, and shine in a supportive outdoor setting.

LIT Camp

The Leader-In-Training (LIT) program at YMCA Camp Chandler is a three-week overnight camp for motivated teens ready to grow as leaders. Through hands-on experience, service, and mentorship, campers build confidence, responsibility, and lifelong friendships. Open to rising high schoolers, the LIT program has two sessions: June 8–27 and June 29–July 18. Space is limited—apply early!

Sheriff’s Camp

Camp Show-N-Tell is a free weeklong camp for Montgomery County youth ages 9–11, hosted by the Sheriff’s Office at YMCA Camp Chandler. Campers enjoy canoeing, archery, crafts, swimming, survival skills, and even a big dance—plus special guests like the Mobile Zoo. With fun at every turn and a strong sense of community, it’s a summer experience full of connection, adventure, and care.
