Our mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Strengthening the Foundations of Our Community
The Y works in our community to give everyone an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
PROGRAMS FOR EVERY AGE & ABILITY
At the YMCA of Greater Montgomery, we’re committed to improving our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. That’s why we offer a wide variety of programs and services that help us nurture the potential of kids, help you live healthier, and allow us to support our neighbors who need us most.
At the Y, we believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success.
All of our fitness classes are taught by experienced, nationally-certified fitness instructors. Classes are FREE for Y members.
Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. Swim year-round in our heated, indoor pools!

Check out our youth sports offerings and get your child in the game where they’ll improve their skills, make new friends, be active with other kids and learn to love a sport at the Y.
Whether you miss “suiting up” or are new to team sports, the Y’s sports leagues provide a perfect opportunity to be active, social and reconnect or start fresh with a sport you love.
