Sports
Basketball
Youth Basketball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills.Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques.
Cheerleading
YMCA Cheerleading offers girls the chance to get active and have fun cheering on the YMCA Youth Sports teams. Cheerleaders will build self-confidence while developing social skills.
Football
Our youth football program includes summer conditioning camps and coach’s trainings with weekly games and practices focused around safety, proper game fundamentals and individual participation.
Karate
YMCA karate classes focus on a variety of skills and areas of personal growth, such as self-defense, self-confidence, personal discipline, respect for others and physical conditioning.
Soccer
Our soccer program is designed to meet each player at their current level of play, provide opportunities to increase their individual skills, and enjoy the game for years to come.
Swimming
We offer swim lessons (for all ages), family swim, competitive swim teams, and more so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.
T-Ball
T-Ball is a fun and exciting introductory sport for boys and girls ages ranging from 4 to 7 years, depending on location, is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball and softball.
Tennis
Our Bell Road location offers tennis lessons for all ages and skill levels from our on-site tennis pro, Richard Barrett. He has great experience with teaching tennis to all ages and walks of life.
Volleyball
Volleyball is geared towards learning fundamentals, competing and socialization for young ladies seeking a fun way to stay fit and connected.
Track & Field
Grab your shoes and run! This league is designed to introduce children to the lifelong sport of running. The YMCA follows the Hershey’s Track & Field Rules for events and equipment requirements.
Financial Assistance Policy
While participants are expected to pay their fair share, when financial assistance dollars are available, the YMCA will assist any individual or family that wants to participate but cannot afford the fee.
