ABOUT THE EAST FAMILY YMCA

We are centrally located in the Dalraida area of Montgomery and conveniently located near downtown and the Gunter Annex. For over fifty years, the East Family Branch has served the community with quality programs and facilities.

Health & Wellness

Our positive commitment to programs that strengthen the spirit, mind and body is evident in our fitness programs. Equipment orientation, Personal Fitness Consultation and Fitness testing are free to members. They are great ways to start your journey to better health and well-being. We offer options for personal training.

Aquatics

Our pool is great for everyone! Jump in to swim laps or bring the family for some fun in the sun.

Adult BASKETBALL

Our basketball court is a great way to have fun, meet friends and get fit!

Before and After School Care

Kids participating in Before and After School Care learn valuable social and scholastic skills in a safe, fun, and supervised environment. The Y’s Before and After School Care program offers a constructive balance of counselor led activities and free time for child exploration. Daily theme activities include arts and crafts, science/math, nutrition/wellness, presentation and literacy. There is always time for homework, a healthy snack for kids, and outside time on the playground.

Goodtimes Summer Day Camp

Dive into summer fun with YMCA Goodtimes Summer Day Camps! Join us at 4 convenient locations: YMCA Goodtimes Center, Wetumpka Y, East Y, and Cleveland Ave Y. SWIM LESSONS COME WITH OUR DAY CAMP!

Active Older Adults

Get active, meet new people, and invest in your health by joining for various Active Older Adults (AOA) activities. Have fun competing and make new friends all while playing exciting games and keeping fit.

The YMCA is a pillar business in whole United States. Who hasn't been to the "Y". I've been a member for 25 years. There's more activities to do than can get to. Our Bell Rd. Location is fantastic, check it out !

This place is awesome and also the best YMCA in Montgomery. Jocelyn at the front desk is so helpful, professional and very thorough. Morgan he has a heart of gold he is so great with Kids. You gonna love it here.

The Bell road YMCA fun center is absolutely amazing. They have the quaint little water park as well as the jungle gym type swing sets for all ages of children. I think the thing I like the most about it is that you can gradually use yourself into the water and you can pretty much stay at ankle can knee depth if you like and still walk around and have a good time. Lot of hot chicks out here too with their kids so it's a little bit of eye candy to go along with the pool action. Having said that, I'm actually here for a birthday party and it's really neat the children are having such a good time. There are several lifeguards on duty at each station. If you look at the pictures that I post you will be able to see the lifeguard at their station. It's a really good thing too because it allows the children to play and also very comforting for the parent to know that their children are being watched. They have a really nice water slide and all sorts of little contraptions here. You can have parties here and just come and play if you want.
