At the Wetumpka YMCA’s after school care program, children develop valuable social and scholastic skills within a safe, fun, and supervised setting. We provide a constructive balance, featuring engaging activities led by our counselors alongside ample free time for kids to explore. Daily routines always include dedicated time for homework, a nutritious afternoon snack, and energizing outdoor play on the playground.

Participating children learn valuable social and scholastic skills in a safe, fun, and supervised environment. The before/after school care program offers a constructive balance of counselor led activities and free time for child exploration. Daily theme activities include arts and crafts, science/math activities, nutrition/wellness activities, presentation activities and literacy. Also, there is always time for homework, a nutritious afternoon snack, and outside time on the playground.

Enterprise

After School Care is available for children ages 5–12, with transportation provided from Enterprise schools. Our program offers a safe, supportive environment where kids can unwind, complete homework with help from caring staff, and enjoy fun, structured activities. We prioritize each child’s well-being, offering attentive supervision, healthy snacks, and a space where they feel valued and cared for every afternoon.

  • Math & Science Enrichment

    Part of our YMCA Before & After School Program in Montgomery, this hands-on math and science enrichment helps children explore, experiment, and think critically. Through creative problem-solving, STEM projects, and nature-based discovery, students build curiosity and confidence, making before and after school time both engaging and educational.

  • Creative Arts

    In our YMCA before and after school care program, children express creativity through art, crafts, and design projects. Each activity encourages imagination, focus, and confidence.   • Performing Arts

    The YMCA after school program in Montgomery gives children an outlet to shine through music, dance, and theatre.   • Physical Fitness & Nutrition
