YMCA Christian Values Conference

Where Faith and Friendship Reach New Heights

Inspiring the Next Generation of Christian Leaders

The YMCA Christian Values Conference is a faith-based youth leadership retreat that brings together teens from across the country. Held at the historic YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, North Carolina, the conference offers a Christ-centered environment for spiritual growth, community, and personal development. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, teens are reminded daily of God’s presence and purpose.

The conference is divided into FAMILY TIME, SOCIAL TIME, SPECIAL EVENTS, and DEVOTIONS with large doses of fun spread throughout the week. Whether it’s learning to lead by example, deepening your walk with Christ, or dancing the night away at the themed banquet, the YMCA Christian Values Conference is a transformational experience rooted in faith, connection, and the beauty of God’s creation.

One Week, One Mountain, One Purpose

Empowering youth to lead with faith, fellowship, and purpose

Our Mission

Our mission is inspired by John 17:21, “that they all may be one.” At the conference, we promise to:
Welcome all with a spirit of diversity
Lead by example in faith and action
Provide consistent, positive discipline
Create a safe, Christ-centered space
Offer caring, committed adult mentors
Encourage spiritual and personal growth
Teach practical, faith-based life skills
Engage teens through fun, meaningful activities

Christian Community

Faithful and long-lasting friendships are at the heart of the Blue Ridge experience. Each day brings new opportunities to laugh, talk, explore, and grow alongside people who quickly feel like family. As the week unfolds, shared activities and quiet moments allow real connections to take root. In “family” groups, you’ll open up, reflect on life and faith, and feel truly heard. Morning and evening devotions bring everyone together—singing, worshiping, and leaning into God’s love as one.

Special Events

Special events bring the energy and excitement to life at CVC. From the themed Welcome Session and Monday Madness to the Wreckoning games, every moment is packed with fun and connection. Whether you’re showcasing your talent on stage, dancing to the DJ’s hits, or dressing up for the banquet, there’s something for everyone. The week ends with the Fire of Friendship, a powerful bonfire where we reflect, share, and celebrate the bonds we’ve built together
