Frequently Asked Questions

Be sure to bring a bathing suit and a towel. Many children prefer goggles, but they are not required. It is a good idea to pack a robe or change of clothes for the walk out of the building to the parking lot.

If for some reason you are unable to attend a session in which you have registered, you must cancel by the Friday before the session begins or you WILL NOT get a refund. By registering and not canceling on time, you are taking a spot from someone else. If you do not cancel in a timely manner it hurts the program and blocks another willing participant from registering. There are NO exceptions to this rule.

If a class offering is full, a participant can be added to the waiting list for a particular class offering, and if a registered participant cancels, individuals on the waiting list will be contacted to fill that spot in the order they were added to the waiting list. Being added to the waiting list does not ensure a spot in a class. The aquatics department will contact you only if we are able to add you to the roster. No payment is necessary to be added to a waiting list, but if an individual is moved from the waiting list to the roster, the registration fee will be due in full at that time.
