YMCA Adult Tennis Lessons
Improve Your Game
Join our tennis lessons for all ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, fitness, and fun!
YMCA tennis lessons offer a comprehensive program for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. These lessons focus on developing fundamental skills, improving technique, and fostering a love for the game. Experienced instructors provide personalized coaching, focusing on footwork, ball control, and strategy. Group and private lessons are available. The YMCA environment encourages a fun, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere where players can build confidence, improve fitness, and enjoy the social aspects of tennis.
What to Expect at Your First Lesson
If you have never played tennis or it has been years since you picked up a racket, your first lesson is built around making you comfortable. Hasani starts with a short conversation about your goals, whether that is fitness, fundamentals, or getting ready for league play. From there, you will work through basic grip, footwork, and ball-feeding drills at a pace that fits your level. You do not need to bring your own racket for your first lesson, and athletic shoes with non-marking soles are all that is required for the court. By the end of your first session, you will have a clear sense of the technique to work on next.
