Swimming Lessons in Montgomery AL Give Parents Peace of Mind
Aquilla Thagard, mother of two children, lived in an apartment complex with a pool. Like most apartment complexes, the pool was unmanned. It made her very scared to ever let her children out of her sight. She had no idea that when she received a scholarship for childcare at the YMCA, that swimming lessons was an added bonus for all participants. Not only did her children, ages 6 and 7, learn how to swim, but they thrived and love the water. As a mother, she is so thankful that her children learned to swim and she can breathe a little easier in her apartment complex now.
