The Y Helps Families
Maranda’s family uses the Y to help support childcare needs and to provide recreational opportunity that fosters social skills in a Christ-like environment. The Y helps her family stay healthy with a multiplicity of recreational options for fitness as well as healthy food choices in the Goodtimes Afterschool Program. The Y also provided her son’s first overnight camp experience. She is especially thankful for the Y because it provides opportunities for her son to be exposed to Christ and to make life-long connections. As a result of this exposure as well as others, he made the decision for Christ at the eager age of 8!
